Sometimes I love listening to bossa nova things such as Elis Regina to Pink Martini then I “stuck” yesterday. This is one of those songs that you don’t remember properly for years then it was like “oh shit, that one” all of a sudden have the urge to look up. Somewhat reminiscent of Blame It On the Bossa Nova by Edie Gorme in the 1960s, or you can hear A Night Like This that’s 007 Bond movies material. I edited this video in style of sampled by Daryl Hall & John Oates in Diddy Doo Wop (I Hear The Voices). Just because Caro Emerald is a Dutch singer, and she’s not as famous as she needs to be, but I swear this lady deserves more time in the limelight. So I should put out this song or may get hooked. There’s something glamorous about Caro Emerald’s sound, as well as Caro herself, that kind of 50s sound and her band with a big sound. I wound up singing and maybe my wife could be dancing ‘coz the happiness was infectious. Danke Caro, what a find. (nDy)
